2020-2021:
Where We Began
The first buildings to rise at Khadija Abdi Hussein Langadhe School formed more than a campus
These buildings created a true compound for learning, growth, and opportunity. What once was a single modest building became a place where students could dream bigger and reach higher. Each classroom represented a new beginning, each wall a safeguard for possibility. This was the moment Give to Learn to Grow’s vision began to fully take shape: transforming limited space into an environment where education could flourish and where children could see a future brighter than the one they had known before.
With each new step, Khadija Abdi Hussein Langadhe School grew closer to becoming the vibrant campus we had envisioned.
Additional classrooms opened their doors to more children eager to learn, while solar panels and water tanks ensured the school could run with stability and sustainability. A basketball court soon followed, giving students a place to gather, play, and build friendships that would last beyond the classroom. Together, these developments transformed the school into a place full of energy and possibility—a place where learning, growth, and community could flourish side by side.

2022-2023
In 2022 and 2023, Khadija Abdi Hussein Langadhe School advanced further toward becoming a fully equipped center of learning.
Additional buildings and facilities were completed, strengthening the foundation laid in earlier years and expanding the resources available to students.

2024-2025
Khadija Abdi Hussein Langadhe School has come so far, Yet There is still much work ahead.
The current expansion project is focused on equipping the school for its next chapter—new classrooms, a computer lab, and a science lab that will open doors to higher-level learning and prepare students for the future. With these additions, the school now proudly operates as a high school, offering older students the chance to continue their education and reach new levels of achievement within their own community. This milestone marks a profound step forward, ensuring that children can pursue their studies from the earliest years through to young adulthood in one supportive and inspiring environment.
A particularly meaningful project completed during this period was the tree planting initiative. What began as small saplings has become a living symbol of growth, resilience, and hope. The pride with which students, staff, and community members care for these trees reflects their deep connection to the school itself—roots planted firmly in the ground, growing strong and reaching toward a brighter future. This project, like so many others, was made possible through the generosity of our donors, whose support continues to nurture not only the school grounds but the dreams of every child who learns within them.
